Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda (Fly-In Option)
This 5 days Uganda Gorilla Safari adventure takes guests into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a World Heritage Site, for double trekking in search of the enchanting mountain gorillas. Spend 5 days on the edge of the forest, spotting different primate species like Black and White Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, Potto, Baboons, and rare forest birds.
With this safari, you enjoy two separate gorilla trekking permits in Bwindi Forest, granting you maximum opportunities to observe, photograph, and interact with different habituated gorilla families. The safari also offers optional interactions with the local host communities bordering Bwindi.
At your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your place of stay for the night.

After an early breakfast, your first safari guide will pick you up from your lodge and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for a short 1-hour flight to Bwindi. Upon arrival at Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, you will be welcomed by your second safari guide. Embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi forest, relax with drinks or read a book while breathing in the fresh mountain air with calls of over 160 bird species echoing in the distance.

After breakfast, set off early to the briefing point with your packed lunch, hiking boots, rain jacket, long light clothes, drinking water, and face masks. Ranger guides will conduct a briefing before grouping you into small parties of 8 to trek a specific gorilla family.
Trackers and Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers guarantee a 95% viewing chance. The walk lasts between 2 to 5 hours, including a full hour of up-close observation, photographing, and studying the mountain gorillas in their natural rainforest environment.

Today, return to the forest for your second gorilla trekking encounter to visit a completely different gorilla family. Compare the family dynamics and behavior between the two groups.
If you finish the trek early in the afternoon, you have optional evening activities: explore the local community trails along the forest border or sit back and relax at your lodge while taking in the views of the primeval canopy.
