Protecting ecosystems, supporting local communities, and offsetting carbon footprints in Uganda.
With these kind of trips, we make sure to focus on Ecotourism with the aim of reducing carbon footprint through your travel experience in Uganda.
Production of waste is affecting our environment and the wildlife habitat we live in, so it is necessary for each one of us to protect and conserve this beautiful planet for the future generations to come.
Travel companies, tourism institutions, and solo individuals have a duty to try and reduce the environmental impact of travel caused by travelling by air and road which generates a significant carbon footprint. One of the best ways for companies to take action is by calculating all the Carbon-dioxide emissions done through the activities of our operations by reducing the emissions and offsetting the same with corresponding actions of carbon sequestration via acquisition of carbon credits.
These carbon credits will be specifically by means of supporting projects of tree planting, reforestation and use of sustainable biomass.
Wilderness holidays can be any kind of holiday that takes you from your comfort zone to experience something new. Some guests may consider many of our outdoor experiences even in rural areas to be remote and challenging, while others return feeling ready to progress to even wilder adventures.
Why adopting a sustainable travel approach creates lasting positive impact
Distinguishing a company’s brand from its competitors can build staff and customer loyalty. Here at African Bush Break / Bokora Safaris, we encourage our clients to adopt a proactive approach with crafted sustainable tours.
Using carbon offsets to compensate for unavoidable emissions is a cost-effective way to make a difference. Embarking on these trips reduces global emissions through measurable and independently verified projects.
Sustainability initiatives add significant value to a business while directly helping in the conservation of delicate environment and wildlife habitats for future generations.
